SHIPPING POLICY / SHIPPING CHARGES

 

At Archana Karthick, each piece is a work of art, and we extend this care to our shipping process. Our goal is to deliver your chosen items to you in a timely and secure manner. This policy outlines everything you need to know about how we handle shipping.

ORDER PROCESSING TIME:

  • Ready-to-Ship Items for Domestic Orders (Within India): All ready-to-ship orders are processed and dispatched from our studio in Chennai, India, within 5-7 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).

  • Ready-to-Ship Items for International Orders (Outside India): All ready-to-ship orders are processed and dispatched from our studio in Chennai, India, within 10 - 15 days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
  • Custom & Made-to-Order Items (Domestic & International): For custom or made-to-order pieces, please refer to the specific production timeline detailed on the product page. The shipping / delivery processing time begins after this production period is complete.

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is booked / dispatched.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

International order shipping charges depend on the greater actual weight or volumetric dimensions of the parcel.

Our delivering agency will require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified an alternate recipient for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) as evidence of delivery.

INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS:

We are accepting payments for international orders via the payment methods provided on the website. Online payment at checkout with most international cards will go through. In case a payment doesn't go through, then do contact us via WhatsApp/Call at +91 73388 56807 and we will strive to provide you with the best possible alternatives. We regret the inconvenience.

CASH ON DELIVERY (COD) - NOT AVAILABLE

RETURNS:

Our garments are all on a made to order basis. Once your order is confirmed, we do not offer any exchange or returns. However, in case of alterations, we will be happy to assist you. Courier charges will be applicable for the same and will be borne by the customer. Alteration service is only available for domestic purchases.

TAXES & DUTIES:

  • For Indian customers: Product prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.
  • For International customers (when applicable): International deliveries may attract a customs duty or/and VAT as may be the applicable law in the country of delivery and these are over and above the price quoted on the site. The shipping agency would be providing you with an invoice for customs duties and local VAT if applicable. In case of International Orders if a customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and doesn’t collect his/her order from the Shipping agency (like DHL, Fedex etc.), then we will not be liable to refund any amount for such orders.

PAYMENTS:

All payments made against the purchases/services on thearchanakarthick.com by you shall be as against the MRP displayed on the website and shall be in terms and conditions of the third party Online Payment Gateway Services as adopted and applicable to your transaction as approved by Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva). Before shipping your order to you, we may request you to provide supporting documents (including but not limited to Govt. Issued ID and address proof) to establish the ownership of the payment instrument used by you for your purchase. This is done to ensure a safe and a full proof online shopping environment to our users.

Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva) may employ Razorpay, PayPal and such other third-party facilities, for Payments on the Website. Such payments can be made through the electronic transactions, as may be permitted by Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva) which shall be at its sole discretion. Use of such third-party services will be governed by their User Agreement, Seller Terms, Conditions and other rules and policies as may be required and applicable for your nature of activities.

While availing any of the payment method/s offered by us, we are not responsible or take no liability of whatsoever nature in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to you including but not limited to the following: (a) lack of authorisation for any transaction/s; (b) or exceeding the present limit mutually agreed by you and between your “Bank/s”; (c) or any payment issues arising out of the transaction; (d) or decline of transaction for any other reason/s.

DELIVERY: Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva) endeavours but does not guarantee delivery of products in the stipulated time period as mentioned on the purchase of the product. In no manner can the contract be repudiated if Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva) fails to deliver any one or more products in the stipulated time frame. However, if you fail to take the delivery of the goods, Archana Karthick (A Unit of Asthitva) may at its discretion charge you for additional shipping cost.

PS: Delivery time provided is a guideline only and does not take into account possible delays that may arise due to payment authorization. We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours with the exception of sale periods where it may take up to 72 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and may vary sometimes due to factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Or by factors such as a transportation strike or disruption of delivery services in any area due to any reason whatsoever. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. All orders require a signature upon receipt. Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three times before they return it to us. Please provide the complete & accurate shipping address including pin code and a mobile number. We cannot initiate a refund if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address.

All domestic orders from the Ready to Ship section should take about 7-15 days for delivery from the date of purchase.

All international orders from the Ready to Ship section should take about 20 days for delivery from the date of purchase.
